Uros island Peru

The islands of Uros are a set of artificial islands built to be habitable by totora. On these islands live the Uros, a population that goes back centuries and represents Peruvian tradition in its purest form. In addition these islands are an ideal example of the variety of flora and fauna that inhabits them since the totora is a characteristic species of the lake which makes this artificial archipelago a unique and exclusive space, being able to say that this is one of the indispensable stops in the area of Lake Titicaca.
